INTERPRETING
Don't mix up interpreting with translation. INTERPRETING is a live and spontaneous SPOKEN rendition from one language to another. You may wish for me to interpret for you in one of the following scenarios
- face to face meetings
- meetings with French/Spanish speaking visitors
- conferences
- telephone interpreting
Consecutive interpreting is the easiest to organise. Speech is divided up into sections whereby I will listen to the speaker, wait until the end of the sentence, then begin interpreting into the target language. This is done face to face or on the phone.
Simultaneous interpreting is popular at conferences, the interpreter is normally part of a team and works in a booth with headphones.
Whispered interpreting or chuchotage involves the interpreter sitting next to or immediately behind the listener whilst whispering into their ear.
AVAILABILITY
I am available 24/7, in the West Midlands, anywhere in the UK, France and Spain. CONTACT ME for a quotation.
